Modest Beginnings

October, 2012 the CW released Arrow followed by the spin-off The Flash in October, 2014.

My modest collection of two Pop! vinyls doubled in size to four and I was quite content to my collection not expanding beyond this, until ... my good buddy Chris, knowing I was a DC fan told me about the new subscription box by Funko, Legion of Collectors

I debated, missed the deadline to order the first box (Batman vs. Superman) but was able to pick up when I finally joined with the announcement of the second box (DC TV).

From this point forward, its become a Pop! addiction!!  Future postings will include photos of my personal collection, my collection expanding to include Dorbz and Rock Candy plus news on future and upcoming releases!

Justice League

From the upcoming film Justice League releasing November 17, 2017 - Batman, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash, Superman and Wonder Woman
are now joining the Funko team!

Concept art was revealed at the New York Toy Fair in February, 2017. In addition to the above, concept art was also released for Mera, Aquaman's wife.

It's been revealed, Mera will be released on August 1st as a Hot Topic Exclusive.  Below is an image (with additional angles) of the actual sculpt. Photo courtesy Nick (@sw_up_wir20).

Welcome To My Blog!

Welcome to my Blog!

As an avid reader of DC Comics when younger, to see it come to the small screen in 1966 was a true treat!  Each week looking forward to the two-part episode to see who Batman and Robin would go up against next .. Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel!

Fast forward to 2013 - My first Pop! vinyls purchased were Batman and Robin from the 1966 series. A perfect compliment to my Batmobile diecast I had purchased a year or so earlier at a comi-con event and brought back some great memories. With the release of Batman and Robin, they also released the Joker and Catwoman.

In 2017, Funko expanded on the 1966 series with the release of Batgirl and some of Batman and Robin's greatest foes!
